Installing the swing-away elevating leg rest
1. Place the elevating leg rest assembly on the outside of
the wheelchair and install the hinge plates onto the
hinge pins on the wheelchair frame.
2. Rotate leg rest assembly toward the inside of the
wheelchair until it locks in place.
3. Repeat STEPS 1-2 for the other leg rest assembly.
NOTE - The footplate will be on the inside of the
wheelchair when the leg rest is locked in place.
4. After seated in wheelchair, adjust the footrest to correct
height by loosening the locknut and sliding the lower
footrest tube up or down until desired height is
achieved.
5. Tighten locknut securely.
6. To release the leg rest, push the leg rest release handle
toward the inside of the wheelchair (facing the front of
the wheelchair) and swing the leg rest assembly to the
outside of the wheelchair.
