Construction
RISE 3 –
rise higher
RISE – the name says it all. The third
generation of our high-end B wing follows
straight the virtues of its predecessor
– top
performance combined with comfort in flight.
But at the RISE3 it is a complete new
construction, as a lot of knowhow came from
the HERO (our Ultralight High Performance
wing).
At a sight:
Improved performance of around half a glide-
angle number compared to its predecessor.
More top-speed, comparable with higher-
classed wings.
Perfectly balanced. A pitch neutral flying
characteristic ensures perfect gliding in all
kind of conditions. This means the
performance in practical flying is very good.
More stability. Flying gets even more stress
less.
Dynamic handling. The RISE3 has got an agile
and responsiveness turning characteristic.
The glider follows the pilots input
immediately.
Glider weight. By creating a light-weight construction in combination with durable materials
we created a light glider which is tough at the same time.

And we fulfilled this by:
New profile generation. Taken from the HERO it gives performance, stability, very good
climbing in thermals, high top-end speed and an overall comfortable flying characteristic.
Winglet design. The tips of the wing have got a winglet-shape
– similar to modern airplanes. By
applying this it enlarges the projected aspect ratio and improves performance. As well it gives
directional stability.
