Function of orbital sander

The orbital sander is a compressed air device and is used to sand surfaces.

Never use the orbital sander

for any other purpose.

Please observe the safety regulations!

Application of orbital sander

When working with compressed air devices, observe the safety regulations!

The structure of the orbital sander is shown in detail in the spare parts list.

Essentially, the orbital sander consists of the following main components:

1. Drive spindle:

For mounting the sanding disk.

2. Trigger

Starts the device.

3. Power control:

For adjusting the required speed. Attention! As the power control is heavily dependent on the available flow pres

-

sure and its properties, it is not possible to guarantee repeat accuracy. The performance and available torque also

depend to a large extent on the user and the duration of operation. It is therefore essential that only trained, qualified

personnel work with these compressed-air devices.

4. Extraction connection

For connecting a suction hose.

Information for operation

• The sanding disk must be turned firmly onto the eccentric mount.

Connect device to the compressed air supply.

To clamp or loosen the sanding disk, use a chuck key.

The machine starts when the trigger is pulled. The machine stops when the trigger is released again.

• Always hold the machine firmly by hand to ensure correct function.

The sanding disk and the eccentric shaft must always be aligned, never tilted, to ensure safe and proper function.

Never use the orbital sander and sanding disk for purposes for which they were not designed.

Doing so might destroy the orbital sander or the sanding disk.

Test the orbital sander beforehand in order to identify the appropriate sanding disk.

Sanding performance depends on many factors:

If the air flow pressure is below 6.2 bar, performance will be affected.
