INSTALLATION
The
transmitter
must
be
sited
in
a
dry
secure
area;
it
is
NOT
suitable
for
outdoor
locations.
The
transmitter
must
be
within
20
metres
cable
run
of
a
Touchsafe
Pro
Display
Panel.
Note:
If
there
are
multiple
panels
connect
to
the
one
which
is
most
centrally
located
on
the
site.
The
transmitter
should
be
positioned
as
high
as
possible
with
the
antenna
a
minimum
of
300mm
from
the
ceiling
and
at
least
2
metres
away
from
any
other
electronic
equipment.
IMPORTANT:
AVOID
LOCATING
THE
TRANSMITTER…
WITHIN
2
METRES
OF
OTHER
ELECTRONIC
EQUIPMENT
DIRECTLY
ABOVE
A
HEATER
IN
DIRECT
SUNLIGHT
NEAR
TO
SPLASHING
WATER
RADIO
RANGE
Construction
materials
such
as
foil
backed
plasterboard,
reinforced
concrete
or
stone
walls
will
reduce
range.
Environmental
conditions
such
as
high
levels
of
transmission
at
nearby
frequencies
or
emissions
from
other
electrical
equipment
may
further
reduce
range.
Clear
line
‐
of
‐
sight
will
give
a
maximum
radio
range
of
1
kilometre
radius
from
the
transmitter.
