READ BEFORE USE
Before using your new product, you and each person that may assist you in its use
should take time to read this manual and follow all instructions.
INTRODUCTION
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Illuminated Magnifier from Aidapt. The
Illuminated Magnifier is manufactured from the finest materials available. When
used correctly it is designed to give many years of reliable, trouble-free service.
INTENDED USE
Lightweight 102 mm handheld magnifying glass with a Silver/Black plastic frame
and handle. Includes 2 LED lights (requires 3xAAA batteries, not supplied) and
offers 5x magnification. The handle has two cleverly-designed hinged points, which
can be used to create a stand and allows for hands-free use of the magnifying glass.
The Illuminated Magnifier also has pre-drilled holes either side of the magnifying
glass for cord to be passed through, so it can be rested around the neck. Ideal for
use in the home, office, studio or workshop for general reading, hobbies, crafts,
maps, etc.
Operating the LEDs:
1.
Press and slide open the battery compartment at the base of the handle
and insert the batteries following the direction shown in the
compartment. Close the battery compartment lid.
2.
Locate the switch on the handle and press to turn on the lights. Press the
switch again to turn off the lights and preserve battery life when not in
use.
3.
Use your Illuminated Magnifier as you would a standard magnifier, with or
without the light in operation.
Hands-free use:
1.
For hands free use, flip open the folding section on the underside of the
handle until it is almost at a right angle. Do not force the folding section to
open wider than this.
2.
Rest the magnifier on the work surface and adjust the angle of the head of
the magnifier by gently pushing it down towards the work surface.
