INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing the height adjustable Shower Chair from Aidapt.
Please examine your product for any visible damage before using/installing. If you see any
damage or suspect a fault, please do not use, but contact your supplier.
These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product for future
reference.
INTENDED USE
The height adjustable shower chair is ideal for users with reduced mobility and those who
cannot stand for long periods. This product must only be used on flat, stable surfaces.
ADJUSTMENT TO EXTENSION LEGS
Grip the extension leg with one hand whilst pushing the metal locking pin down with the
other hand so the locking pin retracts fully into the shaft (see fig.1).
Select required height by adjusting the top section of the shaft in an upwards or
downwards motion and release the metal locking pin in front of the required hole position
(see fig.2, fig. 2(a)).
Never install the extension legs unevenly or slanting, this will compromise the safety of the
user.
Prior to use, always ensure that the locking pin fully protrudes from the selected hole
position. Apply downward pressure on the handles of the shower chair to test that the
shower chair has been assembled correctly.
USE OF BATH OILS
Caution should be observed if you are using any form of bath oils or oily skin preparation
with your shower chair as this may impair your natural skin resistance.
In the event of using any such oil, your seat must be thoroughly cleaned with a suitable
detergent to break down any oily residue. Failure to observe this recommendation could
impair your safety.
