PREPARATION & SET-UP

HITCHING TRACTOR TO IMPLEMENT

On initial delivery, use with a new tractor, and seasonally check and as necessary, complete these items before 

continuing to the routine set-up items:

CRUSH HAZARD - WARNING

Keep clear of moving and shifting equipment. 
Equipment movement area; will result in death or 
serious injury.

• 

Hazards may include, but are not limited to, 
connection and disconnection of equipment, 
unexpected equipment shifting, etc.

Connect the tractor 3-point lift arms to the lower 

hitch pins. If using a quick hitch, ensure that the 

pins lock securely.

Connect the top link to the upper hitch pin. 

Front-to-back leveling is performed in later 

steps.
