2. Direct the remote control towards the device
and press the appropriate device button on
the remote control (f.eks. TV1, CD, DVD,
etc.). Now press a button on the remote
control to check that it can operate the cor
responding function on the device (f.eks. the
”On/Off” button to check whether the
remote control turns the device off).
3. Check that the other buttons on the remote
control activate the corresponding functions
on the device (f.ex. whether the ”VOL”
button turns the sound on the television up
and down).
4. If the remote control does not work, check
the code and the device mark again in the
code list and repeat the programming.
5. If the remote control still does not work, try
using other codes.
Automatic code search
If you cannot find your device in the code list
or the code does not work, you can use a
manual or automatic On/Off code search using
the remote control.
1. Switch on the device you wish to operate
(f.ex. CD or DVD player) and direct the remote
control towards it.
