U2300A Series USB DAQ Programming Guide
WAVeform:POINts
Syntax
WAVeform:POINts <value>
This commands queries the number of acquisition points. Each acquisition
point is made up of two bytes. Hence, setting the acquisition points to 100
implies that a block of 200 bytes of raw data is transfered to the PC when
the
WAVeform:DATA?
command is issued.
This command- cum- query performs the same functions as
on page 13. The only difference is that the
WAVeform:POINts
command is meant for continuous acquisition. The
ACQuire:POINts
command is meant for single- shot acquisitions.
