Click the
Next Sample
button on
Cytometer Control
panel, or right-click the file
name
TBNK.ncf
on
Experiment Manager
panel and select
New Sample
from the
drop-down menu, to create a new sample to start the experiment. After that, one
specimen with the default name
Specimen 1
contains one sample with the default
name
Sample 1
will be created. In this example, two samples prepared and
stained by two reagent kits need to be created. Repeat creating a new sample to
add
Sample 2
to the same specimen. Rename specimen and sample name by
click the name twice or select
Rename
on the right-click drop-down menu. In this
example, rename
Specimen 1
as
TBNK
, rename
Sample 1
to
T-Lym
and
Sample 2
to
NKB
.
NOTE
A hierarchic tree structure is used in the
Experiment Manager
for effective
organization of the experimental data. You can use
Group
,
Specimen
, and
Sample
to organize your experiments and name them in a systematic way to improve the
efficiency and traceability of experimental results. For more information, please
refer to the
NovoExpress Software Guide
.
