Notes on Safety
This device is designed to comply with IEC 61010 Safety
Standards, and has been thoroughly tested for safety prior to
shipment. However, mishandling during use could result in
injury or death, as well as damage to the device. Be certain
that you understand the instructions and precautions in the
manual before use. We disclaim any responsibility for
accidents or injuries not resulting directly from device
defects.
Symbols
The following table shows the different symbols that can
appear on the probe and in the manual and their meaning.
Instruction manual symbol: the product is marked with this
symbol when it is necessary for you to refer to the instruction
manual in order to protect against damage to the product.
Earth terminal symbol: Used to indicate a circuit common
connected to grounded chassis.
Hazardous voltage symbol.
Do not apply around or remove from HAZARDOUS LIVE
conductors.
