Performance Verification

External Monitor

External Monitor

N O T E

This procedure is not part of the automated performance verification; it is included here as a 
troubleshooting tool.

Check the integrity of the VGA output on the External Display port that is on the rear panel of 
the DCA. Both VGA display outputs on the rear panel of the 86100C need to be verified as func-
tional. Refer to 

Figure 4-1

Manual Procedure

Connect the cable from the external monitor to the External Display at the DCA rear panel. It is a 
pass if the external monitor is working properly (i.e. show the same image as in the LCD dis-
play).

86100C Only: Connect the cable from the external monitor to the Second Desktop Connection 
on the rear panel.

Software

Connect the cable from the external monitor to the display board at the DCA rear panel. It is a 
pass if the external monitor is working properly. Query the user for when this step is completed 
(yes/no). Default should be no.

Data Storage

Store Pass and Fail based on the user input. Store the date and time the test was completed.
