Assembling the Foreline Hose

Connect the other end of the foreline hose directly to the GC/MS foreline
gauge adapter as shown in

Place the remaining Hose Clamp (1400-3241) on the hose
BEFORE
attaching the hose to the gauge adapter as shown in
.

Spray the end of the GC/MS foreline gauge adapter with isopropyl
alcohol (IPA) solvent.

Slide the end of the foreline hose over the end of the foreline gauge
adapter.

Secure the hose on the foreline gauge adapter by positioning the hose
clamp over the barb portion of the foreline gauge adapter then using a
hand tool, tighten hand tight.
