Installing a BNC Connector

Installing a BNC Connector

Use the following procedure to install a BNC connector on the rear panel of the 85102.

WARNING

The following procedure presents a danger to your eyes; the law 
requires that you use safety glasses during such procedures.

Procedure

1. Put on safety glasses.

2. Turn off line power to the 85102, remove all external cables, and move the instrument 

to a clear part of the work area.

3. Remove the lock feet (shown in 

Figure 3

) and the top cover.

4. Position the rear alignment guide (shown in 

Figure 3

) to locate the center of the hole for 

the BNC connector. Mark the location with a pencil.
