Connecting to a Host Computer Using RS-232 Communications
Use the RS-232 connection when the host computer uses this protocol.
To connect a TCP/IP host connection, see “Connecting to a TCP/IP
Network” on page 20.
Only one host connection can be made to a host computer at a time.
To connect RS-232 communications

Power off the 35900E Series II and the host computer.

Connect one end of the cable to the RS-232 connector shown in Figure 6 .
3 Connect the other end of this cable to the matching connector on the host
computer.
