Connections

Aligning Two Precision Flanges

1. Place the slip pins in the top and bottom holes of one flange, as shown in

Figure 4-3

Figure 4-3 Inserting Slip Pins

2. Using the pins as guides, carefully align the flanges and insert two screws in the

diagonal corner holes, as shown in

Figure 4-4

3. Place a lock washer and nut on each screw, and finger tighten.

4. Insert the remaining two screws.

5. Place a lock washer and nut on each screw, and finger tighten.

6. Remove the slip pins.

7. Go to
