DECT-S0-Base plus
Using the enclosed S0-cable connect the DECT-S0-Base plus to an internal S0-Bus of the
telephone system. The first S0 of the DECT-S0-Base plus must always be connected to the
system, the second S0 is optional. Should the cable length exceed 150 metres, then the
enclosed power supply unit must be connected.
Please note in order to obtain maximum performance from the DECT-S0-Base plus you
must ensure that no other ISDN device is connected to the same S0-Bus. Otherwise
handset availability and outgoing calls may be impaired.
The telephone system will recognise a DECT-S0-Base plus automatically as soon as it is
connected to the system. Should a DECT-S0-Base plus had been previously connected to the
S0 Bus then this will be overwritten. The telephone numbers and names will not be deleted.
However, handset will have to be reregistered.
The telephone system will recognise the same DECT-S0-Base plus if this is connected to
another S0-Bus of the system and will reregister the previous settings automatically.
Connecting the DECT-S0-Base plus to
the Telephone System
After the connection of the DECT-S0-Base plus read the system programming record using
TK-Suite.
In „PBX/Hardware Configuration“ the item „DECT S0 Base Connected“ should now be seen
as ticked.
In addition the DECT-S0-Base plus can be seen as activated in the section „PBX“ and
„DECT-S0-Base“. In here you may also enter a name for the DECT Base, view the allocated
RFPI number and to which S0-Bus the DECT-S0-Base plus has been connected.
