Overview of calibration functions
Two calibration functions are provided for the printer.
Calibration Purpose
When?
‘Film calibra-
tion’
• To measure and set the
system density of the
printer.
• To measure and set the
film sensitometry val-
ues.
• Automatically after printing
“x” film packs or when a
media with different batch
number is loaded.
• After an explicit action of
the operator.
‘Cleaning the
print head’
To reduce irregularities on
the film.
When image quality problems
occur.
Cleaning the print head
If fine white dots and one or more fine white lines appear in the transport
direction (mostly due to dust infiltration), contact your local service
organization to clean the print head.
