General Troubleshooting Procedure

The troubleshooting procedure depends on the symptom of the fault. Refer to Figure 1:

The online diagnosis has checked
all possible reasons for the fault.
The only possible cure:
To replace a certain module

The online diagnosis has detected,
that more than one possible reason
for the fault exists.

The configured number of cycles
for a certain maintenance action
has been reached.

The online diagnosis was not able to
start up.

A sporadic or persistent film jam
occured.

The image sent from the modality
is not printed. It does not appear
in the printer queue.

The image(s) show stripes, dots,
density or contrast faults.

For more than 5 minutes the printer
shows message
"Please wait selftest proceeding".
