Field Operations and Adjustments
Unfolding Procedure
Remove the wheel and tongue cylinder lockup channels.
Remove the wing lock pins. Place the pins and lockups in
the storage positions.
With the PLANT/OFF/TRANSPORT switch in
TRANSPORT and MARKER switch off, start the tractor
engine, release the brakes and shift to neutral.
Press the WING WHEELS switch, then lower the wing
wheels using the tractor hydraulic valve.
Press the TONGUE HEIGHT switch and lower the tongue
enough to allow the wing latch disengagement from
receiver.
Press and hold the WING FOLD switch and unfold the
wings using the tractor valve.
Press and hold the TONGUE HEIGHT switch and lower
the tongue to the planting position.
Change the PLANT/OFF/TRANSPORT switch to PLANT
and press the MARKERS switch to ON.
The planter is now ready for use and can be raised and
lowered with the tractor hydraulic valve.
