Make sure that the position of the spindles (1
and 2) point in the centre of the sleeve and
not in the net. If necessary loosen the
spindle with the crank handle and do step 4
again.

Put the net through rolls (2, 3 and 4) to the
rubber roll (5) and the steel roll (6). Refer to
the picture of the net roll.

Turn the rubber roll (5) by hand until the rolls
holds the net.
8.
Make sure that the net is out less than 10 cm
from the rubber roll. This makes sure that the
net does not go into the baling chamber
before the correct time.
9.
Remove the cotter pin and turn the bar (3) of
the net tightener to the front.
10.
Remove the spring clip (3) and chain (2) of
the net knife safeguard (if applicable).
11.
Close the top cover and the side cover.

3.4.5 Move the Pivoted Roller to the Start Position
A machine with single net tying will have a pivoted roller that will move during operation.
WARNING: Injury
Danger of injury from parts that move
The pivoted roller will move hydraulically when you
open the tailgate
Usually the last step of the baling procedure is to
open the tailgate to release the bale.
In this condition the pivoted roller will move to the
front of the machine and is in the “baling position”.
In this position the machine can start the
subsequent bale.

If the pivoted roller does not go to the front position, with the machine connected to a tractor:
• Open the tailgate, this will apply pressure to the hydraulic cylinder of the pivoted roller
• The pivoted cylinder will move to the front position.
