• In all correspondence regarding service, be sure to

• Try to have information or description of nature of the
problem, how long the appliance has been running, the
room temperature, and any additional information that
may be helpful in quickly solving the problem.
• Table "A" is provided for recording pertinent information
regarding your product for future reference.

obtain warranty coverage in your area.
• If the product is outside the first year warranty period,

Probe Port
The probe port is a hole from the inside to the outside of
the unit, which is located on the back of the unit. (See
Figure 14). Remove the foil label and foam plug(s) from
the hole in the back of the unit, insert your probe or wires
through the hole in the back of the unit. Seal hole with foam
plug(s).

Lock and Key
The optional lock and key allow you to lock and store con-
tents.
Content Temperature versus Air Temperature
Air temperature moves up and down with door (drawer)
openings and compressor run and off cycles. Air has little
thermal mass and therefore changes temperature relatively
quickly between on/off cycles. Stored contents have much
higher thermal mass so their temperatures change much
slower. Always measure temperature with a mass weighted
sensor to determine if the contents being stored are at the
proper temperature.

For your convenience a bracket has been provided to
hold your in-house temperature monitoring bottle. On the
MS24RD it is located on the right side of the interior liner
toward the back under the top drawer.
