8.1
Battery operation
The printer has a battery compartment for single power MIGNON
(AA).
CAUTION
The EUROprinter II is secured against usual faulty operations. An
explosion risk due to the insertion of a wrong battery type, a short
circuit, manipulations at the battery, of temperatures above 80°C
can not be ex-cluded.
8.2
Insert Batteries
When you receive your printer, you will need to fit 4 x alkaline batter-
ies. To do this, remove the battery cover from the base of the printer
and insert the batteries, taking care to ensure the batteries are in-
serted correctly using the illustration guide inside the battery com-
partment to guarantee the batteries are correctly positioned.

9.2
Opening the Paper Cup Lid
Pull the central lever on the paper cup lid upwards and forwards until
it is released from its locked position. To avoid damage do not use
excessive force.
