5.1
Battery management
WARNING
DAMAGED LITHIUM-ION BATTERY
The product contains an integrated lithium-ion battery. Damaged lithium-ion bat-
teries can catch fire or explode.
•
Verify that the product is not damaged.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, serious injury or
equipment damage.
NOTICE
UNSUITABLE POWER SUPPLY UNIT
•
Verify that the battery of the product is only charged with the supplied USB
charger.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.
1. Fully charge the battery before using the product for the first time.
- The green battery symbol on the display indicates the charging status
of the battery.
•
The battery can be charged at any time.
•
If the charging management system does not detect a need for charging,
the charging process is not be activated.
•
The battery symbol is yellow during charging.
•
Once the battery is fully charged, the charging process is terminated auto-
matically and the battery symbol turns green.
•
Measurements can be taken while the battery is being charged.
•
The number of measurements with fully charged battery depends on the
application and ambient conditions.
•
The service life of the battery depends on the usage and the charging fre-
quency.
