• Always remove the plug from the mains socket before
cleaning the base. Let the kettle cool down completely.
• Clean the outside of the kettle and the base with a soft
damp cloth. Do not use scouring materials.
• Descale at regular intervals. Use a descaling agent, which
can be obtained from specialist shops, and follow the
instructions given.
• Don’t use any metal object or hard object to clean the
heater otherwise it will be scraped.
