Hybrid : If the tag of tagged frame is as the same as PVID, the tag of the frame will be 
removed. The frame become an untagged frame and transmitted. 

Any other tagged frame whose tag value is different from PVID are transmitted directly. 

Trunk : all tagged frames with any tag value are transmitted. 

Access : The tag of any tagged frame will be removed to become an untagged frame. 
These untagged frames will be transmitted. 

 

 

PVID : 

Configures the Port VLAN identifier. The allowed values are 1 through 4094. The default 
value is 1. 

When the port received a untagged frame, the port will give a tag to it based on the value 
of PVID, and the frame become tagged frame.

The port must be a member of the same VLAN as the
