Installation of the proximity switch

Proceed as follows to install the sensors:
1. Insert sensor element into C-slot (cable outlet to the rear) and fasten.
- Recommendation dimension S: 20 mm CS 6/20 and 40 mm CS 6/40.
2. Connect the proximity switch to the control system.
3. Set the slide for the first end position.
4. Press the teach button for 3 seconds.
- LED 1 is blinking.
5. Release the teach button.
- First end position is stored.
- LED 2 flashes (second end position).
6. Set the slide for the second end position (LED 2).
7. Briefly press the teach button.
- Second end position is stored.

The proximity switch is mounted.
Checking the first and second end position:
1. Move the slide to the first end position.
- LED 1 lights up.
- LED 1 does not light up: Check operating conditions and teach the
module.
2. Move the slide to the second end position.
- LED 1 goes out.
- LED 2 lights up.
- LED 1 does not go out/LED 2 does not light up: Check operating
conditions and teach the module.

Checking of the end position is completed.
