2. Exisiting Homes – Drill pilot hole in center of
intended outlet location on the wall. Insert
coathanger wire in pilot hole. From the
basement, check to see if coathanger is in line
with the hole drilled in the sole plate.
Note:
Be sure to wear Safety Glasses when gluing
overhead. You can use your flashlight to
visually guide the tubing into the fitting,
but feeling your way is quite easy if you
take the time to center the valve directly in
line with the sole plate hole.

1. Unfinished Homes –
Mount Inlet Valve to a stud in an
appropriate location.
Reminder:
24-volt wires are positioned
at the bottom of the Valve. 24-Volt
wires are always on the bottom.
3. Exisiting Homes –
Use Dry-wall saw to cut an
area for the inlet valve.

Always position fittings so that airflow follows one direction.
