3.4. Dual-Phase Command Configuration
In this configuration, the differential input, pre-amplifier, and self-commutation circuits are bypassed. The
dual-phase inputs are sinusoidal and are 120° out of phase from each other. The third phase is internally gen-
erated by the amplifier. The advantage of this configuration is that it provides the smoothest possible motion.
This mode is used with a brushless motor only.
