2.5.1.2. Absolute Encoder
The XL5e retrieves absolute position data along with encoder fault information through a serial data
stream from the absolute encoder. Use twisted-pair wiring for the highest performance and noise
immunity. You cannot use an absolute encoder with incremental signals on the Auxiliary I/O Connector.
