AeroClean INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1.
Turn off the Hot and Cold-w ate r supply running to your washing machine.
2.
Place the AeroClean Mounting Template (included in the box) in the desired
position on the wall either above or behind your washing machine. Use a
pencil to mark the desired position for mounting screws.
3.
Make sure at least one of the mounting screws line up with a wall stud. If a
stud is not available, use the expandable screw anchors (included). Screw the
mounting screws into the holes you marked with pencil on the wall.
4.
Gently align your AeroClean directly above the mounting screws on the wall
and slide your AeroClean down onto the mounting screws. Note: Make sure
the AeroClean Logo Is Facing Forward with the (F) D/C Adapter Plug
–
in on the left
side of the AeroClean.
5.
Disconnect cold-water supply hose on the washing machine and connect it to the
(A) Cold Water Inlet on the AeroClean.
6.
Take the new hose furnished with AeroClean, connect one end to the cold-water
in to the washing Machine and connect the other end to the (B) cold water Outlet
on the AeroClean.
7.
Disconnect the hot water supply from faucet and connect to (C) hot water outlet
on AeroClean.
8.
Install brass cap furnished with AeroClean on to hot water supply faucet. NOTE:
that two washers maybe required to properly seal the faucet and prevent leaks.
9.
Slowly turn on the cold water and inspect for leaks.
10.
Plug in the provided A/C adapter to a power outlet and connect the supply plug
into the (F) D/C Adapter Plug-In. Note: A Red Light will illuminate and stay
illuminated meaning power is being supplied to the AeroClean.
11.
Start the washing machine and while the tub is filling the (E) Operating Light
behind the
letter “O”
should be illuminated.
If
the Light does not come on while
tub is filling, SLOWLY turn the (D) Green Lever clockwise toward the wall until
the (E) Operating Light behind the
letter “O”
is illuminated. Your AeroClean is
now adjusted for your washing machine.
12.
At the end of the fill cycle, the light will remain illuminated for about 3 minutes.
INSTALLATION TROUBLE SHOOTING INSTRUCTIONS
Given variances in washing machine models and residential and municipal water
pressures, further adjustments may be needed. Adjusting will also be needed if you are
installing on a non-high efficiency, top loading washing machine.
