DA-26

Mono / Stereo Analogue Audio Distribution Amplifier

1. Equipment description.

1.1. Basic design concepts.

The

DA-26

is an analogue audio distribution amplifier with 2 input audio channels and 12 output

audio channels. Both inputs and outputs are transformer balanced.

You can configure the DA-26 to work in

Mono

 or

Stereo

mode. In Mono mode 1 input and 12

outputs are available. In Stereo mode 2 inputs and 6 outputs per input are available.

You can change the working mode just by pushing a button located on the front panel.

1.2. Gain.

Independent gain control (between -

and +15 dB) is provided for each individual output.

1.3. Adjustments.

All the outputs are adjusted by default with a gain of 0 dB. Due to the load impedance of the
equipment that are receiving the distributed signal or due to different level requirements, in
some installations it may be necessary to make a little gain adjustment in order to get the
desired output level. You can use an oscillator as input generator and use a trimmer to regulate
the front potentiometers in order to adjust each output level.

2. Equipment power supply.

The equipment receives power through the connector designed for that purpose (located on the
back panel), using the cable supplied. The equipment may be operated with alternating voltage
of between 90V and 250V at 50 or 60 Hz. Maximum consumption is approximately 45W.

To turn on the equipment, you must activate the power switch (ON position) located on the front
panel. If all instructions have been correctly followed, the Power ON LED will light up, indicating
that the equipment is receiving power.
