3. Installation of AEM
®
intake system.
a. When installing the intake system, do not completely tighten the hose clamps or mounting hardware until
instructed to do so.
a. Install the MAF sensor into the AEM intake tube with
the supplied M4 bolts.
d. Install the hose with clamps onto the turbo compres-
sor inlet as shown.
b. Install the edge trims and mounting hardware on the
AEM heat shield as shown. Please refer to the illustra-
tion on pg. 2 for part details if needed. Edge trim will
need to be cut to approx. lengths of 39”, 12”, and 6”.
c. Insert the AEM intake tube into the heat shield open-
ing and install the air filter with hose clamp as shown.
Torque filter hose clamp to 30 in-lb at this time.
