Using the hair straightener
• Always start at the hairline.
• Place one strand between the heating elements and
close both elements using the lever.
• Slowly move the appliance towards the tips of the hair.
Using the curling tongs
• Press the lever to open the curling tongs.
• Clamp a hair strand into the tongs and then pull the curl
-
ing tongs down to the tips of the hair.
• Hold the curling tongs on the handle and the cool end.
• Twist the hair around the curling tongs, even up to close
to the hairline if desired.
• Hold the appliance in that position for max. 5 seconds in
order not to damage your hair.
• Then unwind the hair strand again.
Using the round brushes
• Twist one hair strand around the brush starting from the
tips all the way to the hairline. Hold the appliance in this
position for max. 5 seconds.
• Then unwind the hair strand again.
After use
• Let your hair cool down completely before continuing to
style it.
• Do
not
comb your hair afterwards if you want to keep the
curls strong. Just use your fingers for styling.
Switch-off
After use, slide the switch to position “
0
” and disconnect
from the mains.
Storage
• Leave the device to cool before putting it away!
• To do so, place the appliance onto one side of the hous
-
ing or hang it up by the suspension eye.
• The curling tongs and the small round brush feature an
additional base to hold the appliance.
Mains Cable
• The mains cable should only be wound up loosely.
• Never tie the cable tightly round the device, as over time
this may result in the cable breaking.
• Check the mains cable regularly for damagen.
Maintenance and care
WARNING:
• Before cleaning remove the mains lead from the socked.
• Under no circumstances should you immerse the device in water
for cleaning purposes. Otherwise this might result in an electric
shock or fire.
• Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning!
Risk of burns!
CAUTION:
• Do not use a wire brush or any abrasive items.
• Do not use any acidic or abrasive detergents.
• Remove hair from the attachments after every use.
• Clean the housing and the attachment with a damp cloth,
if necessary.
• Allow all parts to dry completely before using them again.
