End of programme
At the end of the programme, open the porthole door when the
END light
comes on. Three acoustic signals will sound every
20 seconds for two minutes.
Check that the drum has been completely emptied to avoid any
items accidentally left there being damaged in a subsequent wash
(e.g. shrinking), or their colour running into the next laundry load.
Additional rinse/Cooling of the washing water
The machine always operates with minimum water consumption.
An additional rinse may be selected with programmes for cottons
and synthetics.
This increases both the amount of water used (of about 14.5
litres) and the programme time.
In certain cases (very old drain pipes) it may be necessary to cool
the washing water from 95°C to about 67°C before draining. This
is done by taking into the drum a certain amount of cold water
(approx. 3.5 litres).
The water consumption is also slightly increased.
– Pull out the detergent dispenser drawer until the switch is acces-
sible on the left-hand side.
– Use a coin to turn the switch to the symbol if you want to perform
the additional rinse or to the symbol if you want to perform both
fonctions (additional rinse + water cooling).
These fonctions have to be selected
prior
to selecting the wash-
ing programme.
