Rinse Aid

Rinse aid ensures that dishes emerge thoroughly rinsed and spot free
while glasses are clear and shining.

There are two ways to add rinse aid:

• If you use detergent that already contains rinse aid, the detergent

and rinse aid are placed in the detergent container.
– In this case the rinse aid supply from the rinse aid container must

be

switched off

 to avoid double dosing.

• If you use separate detergent and rinse aid, the rinse aid is placed in

the rinse aid container.
– In this case the rinse aid supply from the rinse aid container must

be

switched on

.

– Rinse aid dosing levels need to be set.

Only use rinse aid specifically designed for domestic dishwashers. Never
fill the rinse aid container with any other substance (e.g., vinegar con-
centrate or dishwasher cleaning agent) as this would damage the appli-
ance.
