Operation
AHo 40 MTH
With the twin-handle tap, you draw hot water by turning
the right handle. You can draw cold water by turning the
left handle only.
If you turn both handles you can mix the required tem-
perature by opening and closing off the water flow as
appropriate.

Cleaning, care and
maintenance
Clean the taps with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive or
corrosive cleaning agents.
Descale the jet controller if it is clogged with limescale.
Remove it from the pivoting spout to do this.

What to do if ...
6.1
... there is no hot water
Although the draw-off valve is fully opened. In this case, it
could be that the small instantaneous water heater has not
heated the water because there is no power. Check the
MCB/fuse and residual current device in your fuse box.
6.2
... the water flow rate is weak
It could be that the jet controller in the tap is contamina-
ted or scaled up. In this case clean the jet controller or
descale it. You can order the jet controller from us as a
spare part:

Equipment description
With the AHo 40 MTH twin-handle wall mounted tap for
small open vented (unpressurised) instantaneous water
heaters, the handles are arranged in the opposite way
to those of mains pressure taps, in accordance with
DIN 44897 T1:

cold water (blue) left and
◦
hot water (red) right.

Standard delivery
The following diagrams show the standard delivery. The
pipes connected to the AHo 40 MTH tap are chrome-pla-
ted copper pipes. The connection hoses for the AHEu 40
MTH / AHu 40 MTH are made of plastic with a stainless
steel mesh.
