CONNECTION
Preparation
•
Before connecting the voltage converter you must
check the terminals on the vehicle’s battery. The
voltage converter must not be used with vehicles
where the positive terminal “+” is connected to a
metal part of the vehicle.
•
Only use the included cables with rings to con
-
nect to a 12 V direct current power supply (e.g.
automotive battery). If the included cables are too
short, you may also use insulated copper cables
from a speciality retailer.
•
use the shortest possible cable. The suitable
cable diameter must be selected based on the
length of the cable between the voltage converter
and power source. If you are unsure about some
-
thing, please contact your speciality retailer.
