Combination Lock – Emergency Power
In the extremely unlikely event that the lock loses power completely before batteries can be
replaced, there is an emergency power connector located on the underside of the electronic lock.
This allows a 9V PP3 battery to power the lock, enabling access to the cabinet to replace the batteries
in the normal AAA (LR03) battery pack. HeartSafe® AED Locator should be contacted prior to
attempting this, as you will need to obtain the MASTER CODE for the lock from us.
6
STEPS TO GAIN ACCESS USING EMERGENCY BATTERY OVERRIDE
1. Place the PP3 Battery terminals exactly as shown with + terminal on Left
2. Apply the battery with pressure to the lock and maintain contact
3. The Lock will ‘BEEP’ twice and the BLUE LED will flash twice
4. Enter the MASTER PIN CODE supplied by AED Locator
5. The Lock will open, and the Batteries can be replaced
