Battery Replacement
The data on the positions of manipulator axes is saved with the encoder battery.
The battery shall be replaced according to the following process every 7,860 h
or 2 years (whichever comes first) or in case of A2 alarm from drive.
Replacement as follows:
1.
Adjust the robot to the calibration state.
2.
To prevent the hazards, turn off the power, hydraulic, and pneumatic
sources connected to the robot.
3.
Remove the battery cover on the electrical mounting plate of manipulator
4.
Remove the old battery from the box and put the new battery into the box.
Be sure to keep the positive and negative polarities of battery same as the
old one.
5.
Reconnect the battery pin connector
6.
Install the battery cover
7.
Coat the joint surface between the electrical mounting plate and battery
cover with the sealant.
8.
Make sure that all safety conditions are met, and then perform the
calibration and testing of manipulator.
