When using the self-timer function, be sure to use a tripod or place the digital
camera on a level, stable surface.
Recording Audio Clips
Turn the power on, and set the camera to
the Voice REC mode (
page 13).
Press the shutter button (
n
) to start
recording.

The voices are recorded from the
microphone (

) of the camera. Be
careful to avoid touching the microphone
while recording.
Press the shutter button again to end recording.

The camera will stop recording automatically when the memory capacity
has been reached.
Playing Back Audio Clips
Turn the power on, and set the camera to
the PLAY mode (
page 13).
Press
or to select the audio clip that
you want to playback.
Start playing back.
y
Press to start playing the audio clip.
y
Press to stop the audio clip, or press
to pause it. When audio clip
paused, press
again to resume.
