3.4.2 Hard Disk Boot Priority
Set hard disk boot device priority.
3.4.3 Virus Warning
Enable virus warning, the commands are "Enabled" or "Disabled".
3.4.4 CPU L1 & L2 Cache
Enabling this feature speeds up memory access. The commands are
“Enabled” or “Disabled.”
3.4.5 Hyper-Threading Technology
While using CPU with Hyper-Threading technology, you can select
"Enabled" to enable Hyper Threading Technology in OS which supports
Hyper-Threading Technology or select "Disabled" for other OSs which
do not support HT technology.
3.4.6 Quick Power On Self Test
It allows the system to skip certain tests to speed up boot-up procedure.
3.4.7 First/Second/Third Boot Device
The BIOS tries to load the OS from the devices in the sequence set here.
The options are: "Floppy", "LS120", "HDD-0", "SCSI", "CDROM",
"HDD-1", "HDD-2", "HDD-3", "ZIP100", "USB-FDD", "USB-ZIP",
"USBCDROM","USB-HDD", "LAN", "Disabled".
3.4.8 Boot Other Device
To boot another device, the options are "Enabled" and "Disabled".
3.4.9 Swap Floppy Drive
If the system has two floppy drives, choose "Enabled" to assign physical
drive B to logical drive A and vice-versa. The commands are “Enabled”
or “Disabled.”
3.4.10 Boot Up Floppy Seek
Selection of the command “Disabled” will speed the boot up. Selection of
“Enabled” searches disk drives during boot up.
3.4.11 Boot Up NumLock Status
Set the boot up status Num Lock, the options are "On" and "Off".
3.4.12 Gate A20 Option
"Normal": A pin in the keyboard controller controls GateA20. Fast"
(Default): Lets chipset control GateA20.
