Introduction
The KBD-6312 is a 19” rackmount keyboard. It includes one KBD-6307 compact key-
board and a lockable keyboard drawer that meets the EIA RS-310C 19” rackmount
standard. The KBD-6307 is a compact PC/AT-compatible keyboard designed with a
user-friendly touchpad to simulate the mouse function. KBD-6307 also provides a
Windows application key.

Connecting the Keyboard
KBD-6307 or KBD-6312 will have two output connectors:
1. 5-pin DIN connector: Connect to the computer’s keyboard port.
2. 9-pin DB connector: Connect to the RS-232 connector or the PS/2 mouse port of
computer to enable touchpad operation.
Note that both connectors are notched for correct orientation.
