1. RJ-45 pin assignments
The RJ-45 media connector on your card or hub/switch has specific leads that
correspond to each of the eight pins on the RJ-45 jack. This cable is responsible for
the transmission and reception of all data over the network. Refer to the table and
diagram below for the pin assignments.
