Hardware Installation

2.4.1

HDD installation

1.

Open the side top cover. (the one with ARK-DS762 logo)

2.

Fix the HDD to the HDD bracket on the housing and attach with screws.

2.4.2

CPU and Memory (CPU side) installation

1.

Open the side cover (no ARK-DS762 logo) and the middle top cover. The mem-
ory module can be installed and removed.

2.

Loosen the 4 screws on the thermal module and remove the thermal module.

3.

Insert the CPU on the CPU socket and use the screw driver to fix the CPU 
socket.
