Total Access 600R System Manual

DLP-008

For LAN Upgrades

1. Connect to the unit using the

10/100B

ASE

interface.

If you are not already connected to the unit’s

10/100B

ASE

port using Telnet client software, use the

procedure in DLP-006,

T elnetting to the Unit

, to connect to the unit.

2. Verify the TFTP server is running on the network.

The user may ping the TFTP server from the unit to

verify communication.

3. Download the firmware upgrade file to your computer.

4. Go to the

YSTEM

TILITY

menu and select the

PDATE

IRMWARE

menu; press <Enter>.

5. Go to the

RANSFER

ETHOD

menu and select

TFTP

6. Set the

TFTP S

ERVER

DDRESS

to the IP address of the machine running the TFTP server program.

7. Enter the filename of the update file into the

TFTP S

ERVER

ILENAME

field.

8. Select

TART

RANSFER

to start the update. Enter

to confirm the upgrade.

Perform Steps Below in the Order Listed

A TFTP server ships as part of the ADTRAN utilities. If using ADTRAN utilities, choose
