Prerequisite
• Home network with hub/switch socket available for Media-Link
(i.e. one LAN card connection)
• Find out your PC's IP address and default gateway address
• Assign a static IP address for your Media-Link Device
• Obtain your DNS server IP from your ISP or through your
internet connected personal computer
How to detect your computer's IP address?
1. Open command prompt.
2. Type
'ipconfig
'.
3. Press
Enter
.
4. You should be able to see your PC's
IP address
and default
gateway IP address.
