Placing Text...

You may Designate the Flow of Text in One of
Three Ways:
–
Automatically
- PageMaker adds pages until all
of the text is placed.
–
By Column
- One column at a time
–
By Defined Space
- You define the space on the
page by clicking, holding and dragging.

Placing a Text File:
– From the
File Menu
choose
Place
.
– Specify the text file, that you would like to place
onto the publication page, by double clicking on it.
– When the mouse pointer becomes a loaded text
icon, you may
Click
to place the text.
