3. Refer to your work order, and connect the designated receiver IN/OUT cables to
connectors A and B under the PORT 1 and PORT 2 markings on the rear panel of the
switch. Carefully tie wrap the cables to the cable tie bar at the rear of the switch.
4. This step is optional and performed only if using switch monitoring software. Connect
RS-485 interface cables from the personal computer (PC) with switch monitoring software
to the RS-485 IN and OUT connectors on the rear panel of the switch. This connection can
be via a daisy chain to/from other switch panels. (See
