Automatic Alarm Reset Jumper Installation

The automatic reset jumper must be installed before the module is installed in the chassis. Each
module with the alarming feature has automatic reset and store jumper contacts in the lower
right corner of the component side as shown in

Figure 6-7

. The alarm automatically resets when

the jumper is on the left set of contacts. The jumper may be stored (i.e., the alarm does not
automatically reset) on the right set of contacts.
